Kat Sullivan designed a home that leans into Whistler's mountain character without resorting to cliches. The vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams give the main living spaces a sense of volume and openness, while the material palette — natural wood cladding, stone accents, and warm interior tones — keeps everything grounded and inviting. It feels like a mountain home should feel.

Balmoral Construction built Balsam with the same attention to detail that defines all of their work. The wood-burning fireplace is a true centrepiece, with stonework and finishing that create a focal point worth building a room around. The kitchen features a stone island with custom millwork by Blueprint, and the open floor plan connects living, dining, and cooking in a way that works for both quiet evenings and full-house entertaining.
